XMP 1000 OF Background
- 1000 OF was developed and released to the market with the XMP control system in 2004.
- The last machines with XMP control were delivered in 2014 before the 1000 OF EVO with Beckhoff motion control was released in 2015.
- Several parts inside the XMP machines are EOL and our ability to supply Spareparts is getting critical:
- Cell PC: We do still have “new” unused PCs in stock but certain components inside new PC are approx. 10 years old, since the manufacturing of those components ended back then.
- XMP –cards: A few used XMP cards are still available in stock. New XMP -cards are not available and old ones cannot even be repaired anymore since certain components are not manufactured.
- Omron servo amplifiers and -motors for all axis: All of them have been obsolete for years already but these can still be repaired. We also have replacement kits available but it’s quite a big task to retrofit the machine to another series of servos.
- Camera and vision controllers are also EOL and with very limited availability.
- As a result Cencorp recommends our customers to start replacing the XMP machines.
XMP replacement campaign
- Cencorp has allocated 7 pcs of new 1500 OF cells for this XMP replacement campaign.
- Cencorp is offering an additional 10% discount on top of your normal corporate discount from the 1500 OF list prices.
- Cencorp will remove the old XMP machine from your factory.
- NOTE! No additional discount on new feeders.
- The campaign is running until the allocated amount of machines have been sold.
- First come first served principle applies.
- Cencorp is also willing to negotiate special deals for replacement to 1000 OF EVO machine if the 1500 OF is not suitable for customer needs.
