History
1994 – PMJ launched the first first modular production cell HiSAC – High Speed Assembly Cell. The platform could be used either for odd-form or depaneling processes.
1999 – Boosted by the growth of Nokia mobile phones, PMJ Automec acquired Cencorp in USA and grew into a global company.
21st century – Cencorp launched several innovative platforms for depaneling, odd-form and testing during years 2000-2005.
2005 – The company name was changed to Cencorp Corporation.
2014 – Chinese investors acquire the automation business from Cencorp Oyj and forms Cencorp Automation Oy.
2017 – Company headquarter and production moved to new larger facilities in Salo IoT Campus.
2021 – The latest evolution of 1000BR and 1000OF cells have been released after 2021
2022 – The ownership base in China was expanded and company Cencorp Industrial Technology was formed with headquarter in Zhuhai China. Cencorp Industrial Technology focuses on semiconductor and special automation solutions. Cencorp Automation in Salo Finland continues to focus on depaneling and odd-form.
Present – Company employs more than 500 professionals globally.
